Epic Charging has been added to the Seattle City Light EPRI Vetted Product List for networks, making the platform an eligible network provider for properties applying to the utility's Multifamily EV Charging Program.
Menlo Park, CA. June 2026. Epic Charging, a U.S.-based EV charging software provider, has been officially listed on Seattle City Light's EPRI Vetted Product List for networks. The listing, which took effect on March 17, 2026, makes Epic Charging an approved network provider under the utility's Multifamily Electric Vehicle Charging Program.
The Multifamily EV Charging Program is one of the most active municipal-utility EV charging incentive programs in the Pacific Northwest. Effective November 12, 2025, Seattle City Light reactivated and updated its incentive offerings for market-rate properties, expanding access to hardwired Level 2 charging support and modernizing the program's participation framework.
What the Program Covers
The Seattle City Light Multifamily EV Charging Program provides infrastructure incentives for new EV charging deployments at multifamily properties within Seattle City Light's service area. Eligible properties include apartments, condominiums, and affordable housing developments with a minimum of five units on a single site.
The program supports three charging technologies: 120V outlet chargers, 240V outlet chargers, and hardwired Level 2 chargers. Incentive caps vary by technology type and property classification:
For market-rate properties, hardwired Level 2 charging projects can receive 50 percent of total project costs, up to $25,000 per site. For affordable properties, the same hardwired Level 2 category can receive 100 percent of total project costs, up to $50,000 per site. Hardwired Level 2 deployments must meet a minimum output of 6.6 kW, install at least two ports, and use equipment with station-specific energy usage tracking, either through a networked platform or through load management software.
To qualify under the program, Level 2 charging equipment and the network platform managing it must both be listed on the City Light EPRI Vetted Product List, as detailed in the program's Minimum Eligibility Requirements. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and must be initiated before construction begins. Retroactive applications are not accepted.
