Epic Tops Ohm Analytics’ List of Fastest-Growing EV Charging Software Providers

June 24th, 2025 – Epic Charging has just reached another epic milestone. Ohm Analytics reports that we have the highest growth rate of any EV charging software provider on their Level 2 Assets Under Management (AUM) Leaderboard. Since January 1st, 2024, the number of ports using our charge point management system (CPMS) has increased 2,342%, beating Wevo in the number two spot and dwarfing other notable industry players like Autel, PowerFlex and Switch.

Who is Ohm?

Founded in 2018, Ohm Analytics has become one of the most trusted sources in clean energy adoption solutions. Their expertise in technology, law, finance and renewables translates to real-time data insights, policy updates and market intelligence for EV charging companies across America – from equipment manufacturers to electrical distributors to CMS providers – that are leading the transition to greener power. Data is aggregated from thousands of sources, resulting in peer-reviewed research that companies can use when making strategic decisions on the expansion of renewable energy projects.

What’s Driving Epic’s Growth?

Our rapid ascent up the Leaderboard has been propelled by two key developments. The first was our response to the sudden shutdown of Enel X’s North American operations in October 2024. In just a few short months, we successfully migrated over 3,000 JuiceBox EV chargers to our customizable OCPP platform, allowing commercial and multifamily site hosts to retain control of their EV charging networks that thousands of drivers rely on. Second, in February 2025, we joined forces with Autel Energy and LAZ Parking, the largest owner-operator of commercial parking lots in the country, to support the deployment of some 50,000 Level 2 chargers. As a result, our open-protocol, hardware-agnostic CPMS is now powering one of the largest destination charging rollouts in North America. LAZ’s extensive real estate portfolio meant they could choose anyone they wanted to expand their electric mobility ecosystem, but picked us thanks to our innovative EV charging API, flexible white-label solutions and 24/7 support. Why Does All This Matter?

Being recognized by Ohm, a genuine thought leader in the renewable energy space, is not just about relishing acclaim from respected peers; it reflects the success of a business model centered on a commitment to reliability, open standards and customer-first innovation. And within the rapidly evolving EV charging space where players seem to be emerging left and right, it provides us valuable visibility into market share, operational strategy, deployment velocity and leadership attributes while simultaneously validating the strength and value of our platform for both current and prospective stakeholders.

So What’s Next?

While we’re proud to be a positive force for our partners and customers, the truth is we’re just getting started. Our aim is to continue pushing the boundaries of what EV charging software can do at scale. Our flexible billing options, app-free access, customizable dashboards and efficient hardware integrations are just a few of the checked boxes that distinguish us from the pack, while behind the scenes, our team of world-class engineers, designers, managers and others are working diligently on new initiatives that will further enhance the charging experience for a whole new generation of EV drivers.
